Celebrating Living Legends of Broadcasting

KBC helped mold most of Kenya's notable journalists and media personalities in Kenya. Today, KBC brand portfolio has grown to Three TV channels and over Ten Radio stations, with a general focus of education, information and entertainment with a diverse culture in mind. KBC also boasts of having the longest running shows in Kenya that have rich heritage which creates a nostalgic effect our audience e.g. Sun Downer, Late Date, Je Huu Ni Ungwana? And Zilizopendwa

Living Legends Campaign therefore seeks to honor and appreciate our legends alive, this year, the campaign focuses on the media industry personalities (Broadcast Legends). The two media legends to be honored this year are: Leonard Mambo Mbotela and Elizibeth Omollo. There will be other media legends who will also be recognized.

The events will take place at the Carnivore Simba Saloon on 16th November 2019. We will have entertainment from the legendary band Them Mushrooms also present will be Sir Elvis and the Caravans band, John Karani and Sun Downer will be hosted live on ground by the iconic; John Obongo Jnr. & Larry Wambua.
