Ready, Set, Go: Masinga Race Wars 2019

This weekend will see Kenya’s top race drivers take to Masinga and compete at the Masinga Race Wars 2019 event. Delta Motorsports in conjunction with TARDA , Masinga Dam Resort, KMSF and the county of Machakos and associated partners are proud to be hosting Race Wars Drags and Gymkhana 2019, from 27th April to 28th April 2019.

Race Wars Masinga will a 2-day camping event. The first day will feature an exhilarating Saturday of quick response timed gymkhana. Sunday will proceed with races matching up the best in tarmac spec cars pegged against each other and the clock, in the ultimate battle of tuners driver skill and hardware. The festival will feature various classic cars, street modified cars, rally cars, and exotic cars.

The event has also added onto the village experience. Here, fans will get to enjoy various entertainment, sample foods from different stands, learn and shop from the automotive part stands and so much more. Spectators will also relish in the opportunity to have a one-on-one with the drivers, various industry players, automotive experts and classic car restorers.

In light of the recent happenings at The Arusha Drive 3.0, Delta Motorsports have released a statement and have assured event attendees that they have taken necessary measures to make this event as safe as possible.

A few things to note:

One ticket admits one person and is valid for both days. Should you wish to attend on both days, please keep your arm band on. The event is also free for kids under 12.
All attendees will be required to cater for their own accommodation costs and should not put up any live fires during the event. Unruly behaviour will be dealt with with the full extent of the law
Due to safety concerns the pit area will feature only registered teams and drivers . The pit area is PROHIBITED to spectators. Spectators should be in the spectator ring during the race times.
